Caffe Nero now serving contactless payment

UK coffee chain Caffe Nero has introduced contactless payment technology in its 360 stores, according to V3.co.uk. The upgrade was completed in October after the conclusion of a successful trial involving several central London stores.
Caffe Nero patrons will now be able to purchase their coffee by simply waiving their contactless cards in front of a reader, sans PINs or signatures.
Caffe Nero’s contactless deployment is just one of many getting started in the UK, with both fellow coffee proprietor Pret A Manger and major retailer Boots announcing similar initiatives.
