A Web site launched last month called Coast 2 Coast Biometrics is self described as hoping to make biometric technology more accessible and affordable in society.
The site, which was developed by Enbert Samms, hosts various devices and gadgets that utilize biometric technology one way or another including fingerprint-encrypted security systems for both logical and physical security.
Among the different offerings are the Biometric Fingerprint Car Alarm System, which enables a car to deny access to its computer, ignition and fuel supply, and the Biometric Fingerprint Encrypted Mouse, which can biometrically protect a computer at the login screen, hide and protect personal data in a partitioned portion of the hard drive and setup a program that collects and secures usernames and passwords for Web applications.
In addition to running an online store for biometrics, the site also runs a blog detailing various security features of available products.
