Companies team for RFID-enabled event management platform

ThingMagic announced it has partnered with Lygase, an RFID business intelligence solutions company, and Jamison, a supplier of RFID enclosures, pedestals, and portals, to support the debut of the Lygase SmartEvents application.
The SmartEvents system is a Web-hosted business intelligence application designed to improve the business efficiencies for venue owners, event organizers, exhibitors and attendees.
ThingMagic’s Astra ultra-high frequency RFID readers, housed in Jamison Gnome portals, will collect and feed data from RFID tagged attendee badges to the SmartEvents system. This will provide attendees and venue owners with live and post-event features and benefits.
The SmartEvents system is designed to automate event access, streamline registration, support targeted marketing offerings, enhance attendee analysis and add value to lead generation and sales activities.
