Consult Hyperion joins NFC Forum
26 April, 2010
category: NFC
The independent IT consultancy Consult Hyperion joined the The NFC Forum, a non-profit industry association aimed at advancing the use of NFC technology.
The Forum carries out its work primarily through focused working groups of members covering its various areas of interest, and it promotes the adoption of NFC through open specification development, interoperability testing and certification facilities, and by publishing the value of NFC-enabled products and services.
Consult Hyperion will be granted Associate member status, meaning the firm can participate as non-voting representatives in Working Groups and receive deliverables but can not influence the Forum’s technical direction. The firm may also attend meetings and designate individuals to run for a position leading a Working Group.
Consult Hyperion is currently advising organizations around the world on contactless payments, NFC, identity cards, mobile money transfers and migration strategies for MIFARE based ticketing systems.
