Datacard Group will be showcasing its MX6000 Card Issuance System that will be used to issue the new North Carolina driver licenses next year. The demo will take place at the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators conference in Charlotte, N.C. Aug. 20-22.
The MX6000 can print up to 1,500 cards per hour and offers a range of inline personalization technologies, including up to 26 modules per system that can be configured to meet the user’s needs.
The MX6000’s card issuance system can deliver secure color printing and laser engraving technologies that increase security throughout the issuance process and reduces fraud, minimizes implementation risk, and meets industry standards that govern security, data storage, card issuance and interoperability, said Jabs.
