Digital Identification Solutions was named one of 14 companies to win the Government Computer News Best of FOSE Awards for 2009.
Digital Identification Solutions was given the award because of its LCP 9000 Laser Color ID Card Personalization System. This desktop card printer is designed for secure corporate and government applications as it uses retransfer color printing, laser engraving, smart card encoding and custom lamination on a single card in a single process.
The modular LCP 9000 system allows for the combination of a variety of security features, such as micro text, CLI/MLI, tactile laser effects, high resolution gradient UV, electronic guilloche, and digital watermarks.
More than 65 companies submitted a total of 115 new products for consideration during this year’s competition. Altogether 14 companies were recognized across a range of categories. The Best of FOSE Awards were open to the more than 300 companies exhibiting at the FOSE 2009 exhibition in Washington D.C. March 10-12.
