Korean smart card solutions provider DUALi announced that its Dragon NFC reader has been certified for NFC Forum Digital Conformance by the Korean certification laboratory KTC.
DUALi’s Dragon is a USB-based reader that can support multiple NFC and contactless smart card functions, including payments, loyalty and automatic fare collection. The Dragon can be used as a standalone device, or can be integrated into payment devices such as ATMs, point of sale terminals, or NFC-enabled kiosks, according to DUALi.
KTC used test solutions from Clear2Pay to successfully validate the device as compliant with the NFC Forum’s standards and confirm its interoperability with other NFC devices. According to DUALi, the Dragon is one of the first NFC devices in the world to receive NFC Forum validation.
