Duke University launched a mobile application for iPhones that enables students to find out news around campus, the closest dining hall and hours of operations. The university also wanted to add some campus card functionality to the app as well, says Matthew Drummond, director at the DukeCard Office.
“We wanted to provide a campus card section of that Duke mobile application,” Drummond says. “Students can login with their university net ID and they can view their balance and add funds, view their last seven days of transactions and they can also add funds to their account without ever getting out of line.”
