The European Association for Biometrics (EAB) is focusing on a goal of driving the research and development of biometrics and building the future of the industry around a concern for end-user privacy protection.
As the EAB continues to find its footing as a representative and proponent for biometric technology in Europe, it hopes to create a continent-wide network of professionals in the industry wherein experiences with the political and business sectors can be shared.
In addition to serving as a central network for biometrics professionals, they want to become a central point for training the future experts of the industry and driving research for new developments for the technology.
EAB will be making its first trade appearance on stage at the European Biometrics Symposium in Brussels on February 17.
