Ekahau demos real time soltuions at World of Health IT 2011
From more efficient operations and infection control to environmental monitoring and enhanced patient and staff safety, Ekahau has announced that it will be on hand at the World of Health IT 2011 conference to showcase its real time location system and site survey tools.
The company will offer interactive demonstrations centered on a variety of health care-related applications – all designed to help improve hospital and health care facilities – including asset tracking, staff safety, patient tracking and wireless sensing.
To prevent the spread of hospital infections and other transmittable diseases, Ekahau will demonstrate its Wi-Fi hand hygiene monitoring solution, which automatically monitors hand hygiene of employees in the health care facilities. The technology tracks the individual caregiver’s location and staff interactions with patients to measures hand hygiene activity.
In addition, Ekahau will feature its recently added wireless temperature and humidity sensor tags that assist with regulatory compliance and provide an automated way to measure, monitor and manage areas where changes in the environment could be potentially hazardous.
World of Health IT 2011 will take place May 10 – 12 at the Syma Center in Budapest, Hungary.
