Element ID Inc., a designer of RFID readers and specialty automation systems, has introduced two new RFID readers. The HF1 and HF1-B readers are designed to monitor item level data in automated systems, and offer multiple modes of operation to enable configuration to meet an array of application requirements.
The readers, which do not require third-party software for integration into an existing infrastructure, come equipped with Element ID’s HyperSage data processing software. HyperSage pre-processes data to deliver only necessary information to existing business infrastructure, using any desired message format and protocol. The software has been tested at conveyor speeds in excess of 600 feet per minute.
The readers also feature the firm’s TagLink technology, which matches incoming RFID data with physical objects. The technology enables users to decrease product spacing and increase system through-put, while assuring correct placement of tags on items.
Element ID was founded in 2006. The company is based in Bethlehem, Pa.
