Checkpoint Systems has plans to run an event – dubbed Fashion Day – focusing on RFID and labeling solutions that provide retailers and apparel manufacturers with a single source for all their branding, labeling and security needs – helping prevent against theft and counterfeiting.
On June 8 in Brussels, Belgium, the company will also demonstrate how RFID technology can be used to streamline supply the chain, helping to reduce out-of-stock scenarios. Checkpoint will run a series of hands-on workshops during Fashion Day and discuss how RFID can improve efficiency, from source-to-store.
The event will feature presentations from speakers, including Leen Danhieux of GS1 Belgium and a senior representative from UK clothing retailer Matalan. Additionally, an international apparel retailer will explain how introducing source tagging helped it improve loss prevention and speed up a product’s time to shelf.
Checkpoint will also use the event to preview its new RFID platform for apparel retailers. Thanks to a unique tag reading technique developed by the company, the solution will further help store track goods and improve loss prevention.
