GAO RFID has introduced the passive ultra-high frequency Prox RFID tag for IT inventory management or location monitoring of small high-value assets such as servers, routers, disk drives, tools and manufacturing equipment.
The RFID tag, model 116029, has a maximum reading range of up to three-meters in either metallic or non-metallic environments. It is also customized to support 240 bit EPC global Class 1 Gen 2 compliant silicon and the tag operates at a frequency range of 902 to 928 MHz, and has a maximum storage capability of 512 bits.
With an IP68 protection rating, the small form factor tag is encapsulated within a low-profile ruggedized rigid case, allowing it to perform well even in harsh environments.
