GAO deploys new RFID reader series

GAO RFID Inc. has announced a series of RFID readers designed for use in applications including animal identification and management, logistics, field service, personnel tracking and event management.
The series includes two versions of RFID readers, one that is used to read compatible RFID tags, display the tag ID on the screen and store the data to onboard memory capacity for storing about 2,000 items. The other offers the additional capability to upload the data in real time via Bluetooth to computer or PDA.
The two offer a battery life to work continuously for up to 12 hours on a single charge. In addition, both come shipped with demo software, development kit and meet ISO11784/5 FDX-B and ID64 standards.
