category: RFID
GAO RFID is offering an ultra-high frequency humidity-temperature RFID tag that is designed for use in environmentally sensitive areas such as IT data centers.
The single use humidity-temperature RFID tag, model 124055, is encased in an impact resistant polycarbonate enclosure with a temperature sensor accuracy of ±1.2°C and a humidity sensor accuracy of ±5% RH.
The tag can monitor the ambient temperature and relative humidity inside of data center racks to enable easy mapping of data center temperature profiles and airflow optimization. It can also be configured for periodic reporting of real-time environmental conditions.
The compact RFID tag is an ideal tool for monitoring rack installed assets and sensitive equipment in high-density environments.
