GAO announced two new antenna designs with the release of the circular polarized active RFID patch antenna, model 304004, and the ultra-high frequency guardwall antenna, model 32602.
The polarized active RFID patch antenna operates at 433MHz and is compliant with the ETS 300 019 standard and is particularly suited for applications such as vehicle yard management, parking control and container monitoring.
The patch antenna can be mounted non-RF shielded material including drywall, wood paneling and glass and its UV resistant housing enables performance even in harsh operating environments.
Also released was the ultra-high frequency guardwall antenna, a RoHS compliant model designed for item level reading of densely packed goods. The guardwall antenna operates at 902 to 928MHz for North America and 865 to 868MHz for Europe.
Its antenna provides a tightly controlled read zone to minimize stray reads and its intense RF field is what allows it to penetrate deep into tightly packed cases.
