GlobalPlatform details Cartes seminar

GlobalPlatform has announced its latest training event, to be held in Paris on Dec. 13 – 14. The organization has designed a two-day training program to improve industry knowledge of its smart card specifications, their capabilities and functions and the benefits gained from implementing standardized and sustainable card technology.
Planned for the week following Cartes and IDentification the training session aims to be accessible for those in attendance.
The Paris session will offer an explanation of GlobalPlatform Card Specifications, including details on secure channels, security domains and application programming interfaces. Furthermore, an in depth view of Card Specification v2.2 and its most recent amendments (A, C and D) will also be presented. Other topics to be covered include a systems technology update, GlobalPlatform messaging specifications and TSM extensions.
Training is open to GlobalPlatform members and non-members at a fee of US $1,595 and US $2,195 respectively. Organizations sending two students will receive a discount of US $200 per student. Organizations sending three or more will receive a discount
