COMMERCEWorx and GlobeRanger announced the market release of the GR-Shipping Validation Solution, designed to ensure final reconciliation for retail suppliers that product shipments correctly match the advance shipping notice expected by large scale retailers.
Utilizing GlobeRanger iMotion software platform, the solution marries and verifies, through the use of RFID enable packages, the actual ship quantity to the expected advanced shipping notice. Should any discrepancies occur between the ship quantity and advanced shipping notice, the system automatically flags and stops the package shipment, allowing supplier reconciliation to occur.
COMMERCEWorx’s CWXRUNWAY, a modular approach to complete RFID and EDI compliance, leverages its C3000iASN product offering to resolve any issues. EDI data generated in the C3000i is combined with the additional related data to deliver an enhanced EPC data solution. CWX*RUNWAY contains not only ASN required data such as the SSCC number, but also the entire EPC data requirements.
GlobeRanger states that the new system not only avoids charge backs for advance shipping discrepancies, but also charge backs on carton or pallet barcode labels with increased real-time operational visibility.
