Jeremy Grant, former senior executive advisor for the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace, has joined the Chertoff Group, a risk management and merger and acquisition advisory services as a managing director.
“One constant throughout my career – spanning the Hill, tech firms, Wall Street and NIST – has been a love of working with entrepreneurs at companies big and small, helping them understand how to grow amidst the backdrop of technical, policy, business and finance challenges,” Grant said in a LinkedIn post breaking the news.
“The ability to do this was one of the things that attracted me to leading the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace – it wasn’t a typical government program focused on ‘building something’ for an agency, but rather, on collaborating with industry to catalyze a market of solutions where firms could ‘do good’ – enabling more trust online through better privacy and security – and ‘do well’ – make money in the process.”
Grant will continue this at the Chertoff Group where he will work with companies to deliver a combination of strategy, risk management and merger and acquisition advisory services.
