GTX Corp receives orders to support Aetrex’s GPS shoe

GTX Corp announced that it has received its second commercial order from comfort and wellness footwear provider Aetrex Worldwide Inc. for 1,500 GPS devices.
GTX has shipped 3,000 devices to Aetrex to enable the Aetrex Ambulator collection, designed to help protect individuals afflicted with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia who have a tendency to wander and become lost.
The company plans to ship these additional units in January of 2012. GTX Corp’s international licensing strategy will make available the GPS shoes to additional countries beginning first quarter of 2012.
The GTX Corp has begun developing more miniaturized 2 way GPS tracking devices, designed specifically for the children’s market, which it plans to unveil at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 11th in Las Vegas.
