ImageWare awarded border project

ImageWare Systems, a biometric solutions provider, has announced that it has been awarded a contract covering 18 months and $12 million for an unspecified government’s border management needs. The company has already begun work on the order which involves the deployment of ImageWare’s Biometric Border Management software suite.
The system works by enrolling a user’s finger, iris or face biometrics and utilizing smart cards for those enrolled in the system to verify their identities in the future.
