MyID is certified by the US Federal Government General Services Administration (GSA) and is an approved Federal Identity Processing Standard 201 (FIPS 201) product for the issuance and management of Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards.
“Intercede’s MyID identity credential management system perfectly complements Oracle Identity Manager,” said Richard Parris, Chairman and Chief Executive of Intercede. “Increasingly customers are looking for an identity management solution that combines both account provisioning and identity credential management. MyID, in conjunction with Oracle Identity Manager, solves this problem today, providing customers with an easy to deploy, manage, and use solution that ultimately helps them save money, increase their security and comply with regulations.”
The Oracle Extended Identity Management Ecosystem and Reference Architecture delivers integrations that make it easier for organizations to unify siloed security technologies into a comprehensive, standards-based identity management framework. Unifying these technologies with Oracle Identity Management enables customers to create a common security policy framework that spans heterogeneous systems and applications, lowers costs and improves overall enterprise security.
Within this Ecosystem, the integration of MyID to Oracle Identity Manager is designed to provide customers with a complete end-to-end identity management solution that delivers the convenience of user account provisioning along with lifecycle management of users and their identity credentials that are held on devices. MyID extends Oracle Identity Manager by providing integration with smart cards, USB devices, One Time Password (OTP) devices, biometric technologies, PKI certificate authorities and physical access control systems.
