U-blox will demo Iota’s not-yet-released contactless payment device Tapp at the CTIA Wireless 2011 trade show in Orlando, Florida.
All this week u-blox will be demonstrating Tapp, a device that holds personal and financial identity information, i.e. credit and debit card data, and enables secure connection and selective sharing with endpoints including contactless payment readers.
U-blox will also demonstrate how Tapp wirelessly extends the consumer voice and text ecosystem to a wide range of portable devices, including tablets and GPS devices.
Tapp is scheduled to be announced later in the year.
