Japan’s Toppan Printing to launch $25 NFC device
Japan’s Toppan Printing is working on a sleek new NFC-enabled device that costs a mere $25, according to intomobile.com.
The new device, which is only 3.9 mm thick and about the size of a business card, features a built in 2.2 inch 320 x 240 pixel screen and interactive button controls that allow users to make transactions, such as for public transit, unlock contactless locks, exchange information and more.
Toppan will begin mass production on the device next year, according to intomobile.
