Jersey Mike’s Subs has seen its NFC-enabled Sub Club Rewards Program leap to more than 200,000 users nationwide since its debut last month, according to QSRWeb.
The loyalty program uses both traditional bar code based membership cards as well as a mobile NFC-enabled sticker that can be tapped against a reader to earn points towards a free sub and other offers. A Sub Club member can track his or her points via thefree Sub Club Mobile App for Android and iPhone.
“Jersey Mike’s is a 56-year-old company using the latest technology to reward our loyal customers,” said Rich Hope, chief marketing officer at Jersey Mike’s, which operates 500 stores nationwide. “The Sub Club Rewards Program is getting rave reviews because it is a super convenient award system which allows our local store owners to connect directly with their best customers.”
According to QSRWeb, the Sub Club was created and launched in-house by Jersey Mike’s with the help of mobile marketing company SkyPop, whose platform enables Jersey Mike’s to deliver national, regional or hyperlocal messages to their customers.
The platform also features a real-time dashboard that lets Jersey Mike’s view of their unique membership profile, track specific restaurant traffic, and provide opt-in messages and ad campaigns to members via SMS or the Sub Club Mobile App.
