Kansas University launches universal access transit system
Returning Kansas University students will have a new perk added to their campus ID cards. Instead of having to buy a separate bus pass, all they’ll need to do is show their card. It’s all part of the university’s universal access transit system.
A university spokesperson is confident the new system will cause more students to take the bus, rather than drive. Higher gas prices practically guarantee that. The university is also hopeful that the City of Lawrence will merge its city bus system with the university’s.
