It is the first win for Keycorp’s MULTOS ePassport solution, which was launched in November 2005 at the Cartes smartcards trade show in Paris.

The project is due to commence in 2006.
The Keycorp MULTOS ePassport technology capitalises on the special features that have made MULTOS the most secure, open, multi-application smartcard operating system.
The MULTOS technology is recognised as a leading open platform smartcard solution for banking and ID, where security and flexibility is a critical requirement. Keycorp is the leading supplier of MULTOS products, recently selected for the Turkish military ID project.
