Korean chemical company moves into RFID labels

Exax Inc., one of South Korea’s leading chemical manufacturers, plans to begin production of RFID labels at one of its plants. The new printing line, supplied by Stork Prints, will be able to produce both HF and UHF antennae in a single pass, allowing the economical creation of a wide range of label applications.
Exax is already a major supplier of subcomponents to electronics makers. It views the RFID label market as a rapidly growing market segment full of opportunities.
