LEGIC will exhibit their contactless smart card technology for golfclub access control, cashless payment, membership and handicap
management at Fairway 2004 in Munich. The Smart Golf Pass
system can be seen in Hall 3, Stand 3C09 at the MOC Munich,
February 26 – 27.
With many new golf courses being built throughout Europe every year
to keep pace with the growing interest in the game, FAIRWAY is the
10th Golf Course Congress and Exhibition for all golf professionals from
club operators and green keepers to manufacturers of computer and
security systems.
LEGIC’s ‘Smart Golf Pass’ is designed to provide maximum operating
efficiency and optimum services to golf clubs whose members can also
use the Smart Golf Pass to pay for green and range fees, golf lessons,
and make purchases at golf shops and ball dispensers. It also has the
flexibility to incorporate cashless payment for caddy rental, food and
drink from vending machines and access control to locker facilities.
The cashless payment technology used by the Smart Golf Pass is
almost maintenance free, reduces handling costs and thus the risk of
theft and vandalism. It also features high system security for fraud
protection at access points. And, aside from improved administration
and lower operating costs, the Smart Golf Pass system also allows the
golf club to gather visitor data, which can then be used to further
improve services.
Stephen Neff, LEGIC’s Vice President Marketing & Sales says: “Many
Golf clubs are increasingly using the LEGIC Smart Golf Pass system
for its unbeatable range of features and benefits and FAIRWAY 2004
is the ideal event to demonstrate its capabilities to golf course owners
and operators from all over Europe.”
