A new, free location-based services App has made its way to the mobile market, able to send users discount notifications and reminders all in real-time. There are many groups of people who have access to discounts thanks to their student ID, employee ID, and more.
Dubbed Vidappe, it has stored free discounts for more than 130 cards and sends the user an alert whenever he or she is physically near one, as not to miss out.
The user will never have to turn on the app to get it to work. All the user has to do is download the app and subscribe to any card programs relevant to them. Once it’s downloaded, Vidappe will always be active and send the user location-based reminders when it’s most convenient for them.
With Vidappe, students and teachers in Brooklyn will now be aware that showing their campus ID enables savings for more than 15% at stores such as J.Crew, Club Monaco, Ann Taylor, and more.
