Lockheed Martin, a lead partner to the U.S. government biometric initiatives, hosted five biometric companies at their Biometric Experimentation and Advanced Concepts center in West Virginia. The companies, Cogent, L-1, Motorola, NEC and Sagem, were there to take part in the “More than Minutiae: An Advanced Fingerprint and Palm Print Technology Forum.”
In addition to the companies hosted for the forum, Lockheed also hosted a number of biometric industry experts to run lectures open to the public on a variety of topics.
