Cannabis Medical Solutions, a developer of various technology solutions for medical marijuana dispensaries, has announced the development of a biometric-based kiosk solution.
The new kiosks, called Cannabis Medical Terminals, require biometric authentication that will enable a registered patient with a valid prescription on file to register, order, pay for and receive their medication.
The kiosks themselves would not actually dispense the marijuana, but take care of the payment and ordering of the various strains the patient requires providing instead a receipt and label for the patient to bring to the caregiver at the dispensary who, in turn, gives the medicine to the patient.
Cannabis Medical Solutions officials see the kiosk as a solution to issues surrounding patient and dispensary needs for patient and financial security.
