Human Recognition Systems’ identity registration platform MTrust now helps ensure compliance with the U.K. Border Agency’s (UKBA) Tier 4 regulations around international student sponsorship.
MTrust is a mobile biometric identification system that uses fingerprint readers to track people within a system. In the education sector, it can be leveraged for attendance information and to alert operators when students don’t attend. In the case of international students in the U.K., this information is necessary for UKBA compliance.
Educational institutions in the U.K. must monitor the attendance of Tier 4 students, or they risk facing financial penalties and the possible revocation of their sponsorship license for international students.
The MTrust platform consists of a handheld touchscreen device with an integrated fingerprint reader. An organization can set identity policies for users, and the system works within a biometric registration and workflow platform.
