CBORD Introduces OdysseyOne™
Designed Specifically for Smaller-Scale Facilities
Ithaca, New York — The CBORD Group, Inc., the world’s largest supplier of cashless dining and campus-wide ID card programs, has successfully launched OdysseyOne – a new comprehensive one-card cashless system designed specifically for smaller-scale facilities. OdysseyOne integrates all cashless activities and revenue-generating transactions utilizing the institution’s network and ID card.
OdysseyOne maintains the high level of performance achieved by CBORD’s full-featured Odyssey PCS™, but has been tailored to suit the needs of smaller-scale facilities. OdysseyOne features the ability to operate on less expensive server hardware (desktop-class machines), operating systems (Windows® XP Pro), and point of sale equipment (MICROS® e7), making it the ideal cashless system for small to mid-sized colleges, businesses, and hospitals.
OdysseyOne allows your students and/or employees to use their existing ID badges for services such as cafeteria dining, vending machines, convenience store and company store purchases, and laundry facilities through either payroll deduction or prepaid declining balances. OdysseyOne can support up to fifteen online devices.
“OdysseyOne is ideal for our smaller clients,” says Will McCarthy, Vice President of Transaction Processing Systems at The CBORD Group. “It fills a critical need not only for a lower cost product, but for one that reduces ongoing costs of ownership because it is easy to install, train, manage, and maintain.”
