The U.S. Navy Recruiting Command awarded a five-year contract to CGI Federal Inc. for technology support of its recruiting and accessions system. The contract is a single-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract worth $65 million.
CGI will also integrate its biometrics product for trusted security credential processing and secure identity and access management. Under the terms of the contract, CGI will work to streamline the Navy’s recruiting systems and enable nationwide mobile recruiting for its recruiters. CGI will perform system integration, development and maintenance on the Navy’s different technology systems.
The addition of a biometric solution will give recruiters faster, controlled access to their systems.
