Neurotechnology tapped for Indonesian passport

Neurotechnology, a developer of biometric solutions, has been chosen to provide its multi-modal biometric identification engine as the enrollment and authentication engine for the Integrated Biometric Passport Issuance System for Indonesia, according to a TMCnet article. The system, called MegaMatcher, operates off of face and fingerprint authentication.
The templates used for the passports are to be collected at Indonesian immigration offices and then stored in databases maintained by systems integrator X/LINK SAF. MegaMatcher, which is compatible with both Windows and Linux machines, is capable of iris capture in addition to face and fingerprint.
