Fulcrum Biometrics teamed up with At-Scene, a mobile law enforcement application company, to create the iBolo TM law enforcement mobile app, which is integrated with the FbF mobileOne biometric fingerprint accessory.
The product lets officers in the field use smart phones and other types of mobile devices to identify, categorize and track contacts, suspects and arrestees. The system works through using a combination of photographs, GPS locations, field notes and biometric fingerprint data. Officers can save the information to databases on FIPS-compliant servers, or they can create suspect bulletins to share with other local law enforcement officials.
The FbF mobileOne accessory functions as a sleeve that snaps onto an iOS-based mobile device. It can be used in conjunction with iBolo running on an iPhone or iPod Touch.
The combined product is now available for the iOS platform. iBolo is also available for Android.
