The contract will take effect on May 1, 2014, will run for five years and will issue an estimated 400,000 e-passports each year. Assisting Zetes with its e-passport distribution will be Gemalto, who will provide its Sealys range of highly secure e-passport booklets complete with ICAO software.
Zetes’ solution is ISO 27001 certified, which governs the security management of information systems and guarantees the protection of user data.
