Nokia to take NFC mainstream by 2012
Nokia is planning to make NFC technology a standard feature in its phones by 2012, according to The Mirror.
The roll out, which would mark a huge leap forward in mainstream adoption of NFC technology, could come as soon as next year. According to The Mirror, in Q3 and Q4 of next year Nokia is expected to introduce a whole slew of phones with embedded NFC kits, including its newly redesigned Symbian model.
