Oberthur’s PIV software earns GSA approval

The U.S. General Services Administration has added Oberthur Technologies’ ID-One PIV Client software to its approved product list (APL).
ID-One PIV Client is middleware that complies with NIST SP 800-73-3. Its interface enables access to various PIV card functions including authentication, electronic signature and file encryption. It also includes access to features mandated by SP 800-73-3 and has GSA approval for Oberthur’s ID-One PIV range of smart cards.
ID-One PIV Client is part of Oberthur’s AWP Suite for digital identity security. It provides for migration of a PKI environment to smart device security.
Oberthur is exhibiting its technology at this week’s 11th Smart Card Alliance Government Conference in Washington D.C.
