Codebench Inc.’s OMNICheck software has passed the testing given by the Transportation Security Administration making it valid authentication software for use in the Transportation Worker Identification Credential program.
The Codebench product underwent six different terminals of testing including Cross Match Be.U Mobile, DAP CE3240BWE, Datastrip DSV2+Turbo, Datastrip DSV3, MaxID iDL500, MorphoTrak MorphoCheck.
Codebench, who provides TWIC/HSPD-12/FIPS-201 software, continues to offer software support to those customers who will now integrate the OMNICheck with the other TWIC software.
The OMNICheck mobile validation product works to confirm PIV, TWIC, FRAC, and CAC credentials over the reader’s contact or contactless interface. When operation in TWIC authentication mode it functions as a TSA ICE-listed mobile TWIC reader, but when operating in non-TWIC modes the software simply applies the most secure validation rules based on the card type.
OMNICheck is designed to be hands-free and works with all types of FIPS 201 cards.
