DAILY RFID recently unveiled two new products – a hygienic RFID animal ear tag and a reusable, waterproof RFID populace wristband.
The animal ear tag, operating in either 125 KHz or 134 KHz frequency, is constructed of medical-like polyurethane and is not easy for bacteria to grow; therefore minimizing chance of animal infection while deploying the RFID tracking system.
The animal ear tag is helpful for livestock management processes, such as disease control, feeding, and breeding practices. Using the RFID system, the tagged animal’s information including feeding, location, vaccination, and health history can be tracked in real-time.
The reusable RFID wristband operates at either 125 KHz or 13.56 MHz and is available in a range of standards-based chips. It silicone construction makes it waterproof and heat-resistance, even after high-temperature sterilization.
The wrist band is suitable as an entry ticket for special events as it requires no battery and can be read and written to more than 100,000 times.
