Privaris, a biometric technology developer, has announced interoperability with RSA’s SecureID authentication technology. Privaris achieved interoperability by joining the RSA Secured Partner Program.
The new interoperability will enable users of RSA’s systems to add a third factor of authentication. Privaris’ plusID token creates a one time password when a user has authenticated themselves via their fingerprint.
In addition to RSA, plusID has already achieved out-of-the-box compatibility with a number of RFID access card standards such as HID Prox, iClass, Indala and CASI and logical access applications such as Bluetooth and USB.
