Probaris has released an update to its Probaris Enrollment biometric software that now includes support for VistaFA2 cameras for facial recognition capabilities.
The enrollment software assists organizations in the biometric registration process for identity management systems. By adding VistaFA2 camera support, the system can handle the camera’s ISO/IEC 19794-5 compliant facial images.
The camera, available from Corvus Integration Inc., is a FIPS-201 approved product. It’s designed to take high quality photos in normal office lighting settings for use as secure digital identities or physical identity badges. It has an autofocus feature, and enrollment officers can use the software to change the camera settings.
Probaris Enrollment can capture a number of biometric identifiers, including fingerprints, facial images and birthing documents. It has support for a wide range cameras and scanners.
