RF IDeas has announced the launch of its new dual frequency pcProx Plus reader, combining 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz technologies into the same device.
According to RF IDeas, the pcProx Plus is capable of reading approximately 35 different types of proximity and contactless cards, making it suitable for use with third party software, multi-function printers, or single sign-on integrators. The reader is also HIPPA compliant, allowing it to be used as a log on reader in the health care industry.
RF IDeas says the pcProx Plus reader eliminates the need for technology specific readers, and can help companies deal with the difficulty of transitioning from one card type to another.
