Safran fined for Nigerian ID bribes

A Paris court fined Safran $644,000 for bribing Nigerian officials in order to win an ID project last decade, according to a Reuters report.
Investigating magistrates found that the bribes had helped Safran win a $220 million contract to make more than 70 million identity cards.
