Schreiner University, Kerrville, Texas, will be streamlining payments on campus through integration of CASHNet ePayment and CASHNet Smartpay provided by Higher One Payments.
Payments at Schreiner are currently processed manually through checks, credit cards and money orders.
“Higher One will save our staff time by streamlining the cash processing function,” said controller Barbara von Brandt-Siemers. She said CASHNet ePayment was selected to process payments because Schreiner wanted to be able to “offer students and their parents the opportunity to pay their tuition online.”
Installment payments, recurring payments, tuition and miscellaneous charges can all be confirmed and documented to specific accounts or against a total balance. CASHNet Smartpay will enable Schreiner to outsource credit card transactions to reduce overhead and protect against data theft.
