Toronto-based SecureKey Technologies has partnered with Dell to create an end-to-end private cloud infrastructure. The platform is geared toward SecureKey’s m- and e-commerce business lines.
The product incorporates Dell’s servers, storage, security, switches and VMware, along with its IT consulting and deployment services. It aims to provide SecureKey’s new customers and government contracts with a scalable cloud product.
SecureKey’s Credential Broker Service has been able to implement this product for the Government of Canada. The end result of the project allowed Canadians to use their bank credentials to access online government services. It incorporated many Dell products to create a private cloud architecture that required fewer servers than traditional environments.
SecureKey plans to continue leveraging Dell’s products in adding more clients in the online security space.
