TECTUS adds multi-frequency handheld scanner
The German RFID component maker TECTUS has added a new multi-frequency handheld scanner to its portfolio of RFID-enabled computers.
The new scanner is intended to simplify scanning procedures for customers whose enterprises make use of RFID tags with a range of frequencies. For example, companies which use both high frequency RFID nametags for staff and low frequency RFID-tagged objects in their supply chains can employ the new TECTUS scanner for multiple tasks.
TECTUS offers the multi-frequency scanner in its TPP-70 and TPP-80 handheld computer series, with an optional barcode scanner. The computers use standard Windows CE-based software.
