Follett was having some challenges with PCI compliance and making sure it’s encryption keys were properly secured. Bryta Schulz, vice president of product marketing at Thales, talked about how the company helped Follett deploy a hardware security module to secure the keys, keep a log of who accessed them and make it easier to for auditing purposes. “When then auditor came in he could see that the keys were in all in once place and it took two weeks out of their audit time,” she said.
